Alhambra Buildings and Cathedral of Granada

The Alhambra, a castle built in the 13th and 14th century, consists of three parts: 1)an old fortress called Alcazaba, 2)a big amount of palaces, and 3) really beautiful gardens called Generalife. Here you can see everything except the gardens. If you're interested in those pages check out the Generalife page.
This is the Alcazaba, the fortress part of the Alhambra. There is not much to see, nevertheless it's impressing. Just a detail of the beautiful decorations of the palaces on the Alhambra. In former time it was coloured.
An inside room. The colours are not yet bleached out due to the sun, so it's one of the most beautiful rooms. The only places in the Alhambra where you can find sculptures of animals. Any representation of living creatures was forbidden.
The cathedral of Granada. Really huge and impressing.
