Peru / Bolivia 2004:
2004 was another year which took me far away. After getting to know Mayan
and Aztecan culture in Mexico 2 years ago, I wanted to discover the thirt
big south american pre-hispanic culture: Incas. So, I headed for the old
Incas and today's indigenous culture in Peru and Bolivia.
After arriving in Lima on October 10th, I visited the jungle together with
a Swiss guy, then went on to Cusco for doing the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
With a detour to Arequipa I then headed for lake Titcaca to visit the beautiful
islands there. Finally, I stayed a couple of days in La Paz before returning
to Hamburg on November 6th, not missing a stopover of 2 days in Miami.
